First of all, on the 2nd of February this page won a price for the coolest and most creative site. This happened in a monthly Internet show called 'Spreekuur', broadcasted all around the Netherlands on a national TV station. Why not on a program in the USA, you may ask... Well, that's because I, the creator of this site, am Dutch, and lived all of my life (20 years) in the Netherlands (aka Holland). I was even asked for an interview in the show :). If you happen to have some contacts in the TV world in the US or other countries, tell me about it... maybe it'll be possible to bring it to the TV screen of the American people.
Then, the same week this site was also talked about on a late night national radio show, also in the Netherlands. The DJ of that show mentioned my site for about 3 times during 2 hours... Not because he liked it so much (well, maybe that too), but because when i wanted to tape it the first time, I tripped over the power cord of my stereo set, with the result it didn't record. So I sent the DJ another email, after which he talked about it again... this time i taped it!! :) So you can imagine how thankful i am for that. Here's a link to his site. Pay him a visit some time!
Other than what i just talked about, the site also has been on several TV shows around the world, including NBC Europe, after which it got a LOT more visitors :), and on Netscape's "What's cool".
These were the rather unusual (to me), now for the more regular awards :).
